Broaching or tensile milling is a machining technique in which the tool is pulled through the material by a press. The teeth of the broach gradually increase in size as the tool goes through the material. A small section of the material is milled away at each tooth, creating a keyway or hole. Broaching is a very accurate and qualitative way of milling. The advantage of this technique is that no or hardly any finishing operations are required.

Forceertechniek Koolmees B.V. has broaching tools for different types of materials allowing us to manufacture many end products and semi-finished products in combination with our other business units.
